How Health Insight Works

A public high-level view of information processing

This page explains the user-visible flow of information in Health Insight. It intentionally omits internal infrastructure, database design, credentials, network boundaries, and operational procedures.

Information flow

  1. Account access. The user creates an account or signs in through a supported method.
  2. User choice. The user selects a laboratory report and starts an upload.
  3. Security screening. The uploaded file is checked before analysis continues.
  4. Analysis Engine processing. Supported report content is extracted, validated, and organized.
  5. Insight preparation. The Analysis Engine uses marker information and relevant user-provided context to prepare the requested educational analysis.
  6. User review. The user sees the analysis, relevant markers, lifestyle considerations, and report details.
  7. Ongoing control. The user can manage reports, permissions, profile information, and account deletion.

Third-party services

Health Insight relies on selected service providers for functions such as account authentication, secure cloud hosting, Analysis Engine report processing, email delivery, and Apple in-app purchases. Information is shared only as needed for the relevant function and remains subject to the safeguards and disclosures in the Privacy Policy.

Protection and retention

Health Insight uses encryption, authenticated access, account separation, pseudonymous identity lookups, security monitoring, and activity records to reduce unauthorized access. Retention and account-deletion timelines are governed by the Privacy Policy. A deleted report may leave a limited audit record, such as its display name and deletion date, when needed for security, dispute, or compliance purposes.

What this public view excludes

Detailed architecture, security configurations, keys, internal service names, database fields, network paths, and response procedures are kept in restricted documentation. Limiting publication of those details reduces unnecessary security exposure.

Important health information

Health Insight provides educational information to support personal wellness and informed conversations with a qualified healthcare professional. It does not diagnose disease, prescribe treatment, replace professional medical care, or provide emergency services. Users should seek urgent medical help for an emergency.
